so now it's controversial that a show targeted specifically at little boys has a mostly male cast. To me the fact that thomas the tank engine has a mostly male cast is no more surprising or controversial then the cast of My Little Pony being mostly female.

Mary... get out of the house for a little bit, will you? Go on a holiday. Go see the world. If you've reached the point where you're all bothered about a children's show directed at young boys, you need to get out more.
