Much like religious dogma, the credibility of the 'patriarchy theory' relies on the fact that it cannot be disproved. It otherwise has no basis on reality. However feminists constantly use the 'patriarchy theory' to validate their idea that men have it much better than women (if you can convince everyone you're the victim then everyone will support your cause)
I once asked a feminist "If men have such dominance over females then why does society tell me to put the seat back down after I've finished using the toilet?" and she replied that; it was because patriarchy has convinced society that women need constant care, which includes lowering the toilet seat for them. This is the type of bullshit reasoning that i'm talking about. It is obviously a load of shit, but because the idea is so convoluted it cannot be disproved.
From now on I’m pissing all over the toilet seat!
In reality men and women have it relatively the same. Sure some aspects of life favor men more, but at the same time other aspects of life favor women more. We all get fucked over by one thing or another. In the big picture; neither gender suffers more discrimination nor are they more privileged.
This then leads to the question of “Who is feminism for?” I’ve asked a few different feminists who’ve either told me; that feminism exists to promote rights for women, or that feminism is about gender equality, so therefore it is for both genders (despite what the name would suggest)
Nonetheless in neither of these descriptions of feminism is the male voice being adequately addressed Are feminists just going to make decisions for us?
The reason they want to put a stop to MRA groups and research into men’s rights issues is because; it will only make people realize how little discrimination women face in comparison to men and it will remove the vice from our balls that is ‘the patriarchy theory’!

end of rant...
