I believe that both genders are suffering from discrimination because of the gender rolls society has created for them. The male role is to be tough, providing and strong. Showing anything less than that makes you less of a man in the eyes of society.

The role of the female is to be young, attractive and dumb. From 18-30, people will listen and care about what you have to say. Once you're out of that age range, you're treated like an old tampon to be thrown away. I think that the burden that society puts on men is horribleness. Men commit suicide 13.5 times more than women.

In a society that tells men to WORK WORK WORK and not show any emotions, what do you expect. Let us also realize that women attempt suicide more. Men commit suicide (or try to) because of the pressure being too much. Yes, I understand that not all are like that. Females, I believe, attempt suicide more because of lack of attention. I'm not saying they're attention whores. I'm saying that when you reward a person for their youth and then discard them like trash, that's a recipe for a bad disaster. Yes, I understand again that not all are like this.

Anyway, long story short, what I'm trying to say is that Mens Rights and Feminists need to work together. Stop trying to pull the rights on your side. The gender roles we have in our society have effected both genders. If you don't work together, there will always be an imbalance.
