Great article, I'm surprised I haven't read it before. The points he made are even more relevant now than they were 8 years ago, as there have been no improvements in the situation. If anything it's just gotten worse.

Blah blah blah, all I hear is an old man bitching. Seriously, the guy sounds like more a traditionalist than am MRA. I don't deny he makes some good points, including that men are devolving further into either wimps or beasts with little in between and the Rites of Passage part was dead on, but a lot of it is just an old man bitching about the younger generation ruining everything. I especially "like" the backlash against easy sex, and the casual misogyny of comparing men to women as an insult.

Seriously, the "Good old days" were pretty shitty and we're better off without them.

Interesting article. I don't agree with all of it, but the last paragraph is especially poignant.
