Progressive thinking from a female columnist?

I am concerned about your title. I think there should be a more positive response to an egalitarian and fair article, regardless of the gender of the author. Who cares if she is a woman or a man? She puts pen to paper and has the courage to speak truth to power. Anyway, upvoted for finding a very important article addressing an important policy issue.

Personally, I applaud any author who defends equal rights under the law for all, whatever his or her gender.

Here was my comment:

Finally, a little sanity and reason! Women are 50% more likely to attend University than men, and boys are twice as likely to fail out of K-12 as girls are. Feminist discrimination and sexism against boys and men has gone far enough. The stain of feminist bigotry is the shame of our time, and a burden that no nation can afford to carry in a competitive world.

Sorry for posting so many Globe and Mail articles here recently... I've just come into the fold her at MensRights, and either the Globe is posting more things like this, or reading things here has opened my eyes to what's already out there. I posted the original article that the columnist is referring to a few days ago. Here is the link I think she brings up some good points about equal opportunity being all that should be expected, and it being quite unnecessary to force or bribe people into areas they may just not want to be in!

Just a note that I regret the title of this post. If I could change it after the fact, I would! As pointed out by Anthony below, it shouldn't matter what gender someone is if they are speaking in agreement with me. Thank you.
