the importance of reading "black studies" in our movement

I just did a JSTOR search on "men's rights activism." I couldn't find anything that was actually about us.

I did, however, find many papers of the scapegoating of African-American men.

I was shocked to read about Emmett Louis Till. It seems that in American culture there is a ready made demonizing process of the male population. I think that the elimination of due process for men, especially at post secondary institutions, is symptomatic of this stereotype being extended to the rest of the male population.

Due process is a difficult thing to get for some black males to get at the best of times, and now the rest of the male population is beginning to understand how the process of disenfranchisement works.
