A girl that I’ve known for about 8 years and dated for a few months 8 years ago broke up with her boyfriend. We were messaging for a bit until I told her to come over to swim in my pool.

We talk and she tells me how she never does anything the first date with guys because she’s done it only once before and felt like the fun and mysteriousness disappeared too quickly and she felt like a slut with no self-respect. I may be overthinking it but im not sure how to respond. Any suggestions? It’s been my first hook up since leaving my ex a few months ago and going monk mode, so I’m kind of shaking off the dust right now.
