Asked individually, people would not dare say these things offline, out loud or in public (which is probably why you have people who insist stuff like this 'doesn't happen') but give them an anonymous log-in and well, there you are: the reason why MR advocacy and getting help for rape victims is so difficult.

You are left fighting against things that are carried out in such a way that the general public is rarely aware of it.

I would be horrified if my son were raped, and people insinuated that 'because men like all/any kind of sex' that he would somehow be willing and like it. Disgusting.
