I'd like to get more stats on the sidebar. there was recently a link showing that men are raped by women as often as women are raped by men.

I swear there was a link on here a long time ago showing that more women abuse / abduct children than men, and that the number one factor contributing to the safety of a child is a steady male presence in the home. I can't find that anymore.

the false accusations and vilification links are kinda weak too.

For too long I've just been assuming that the great studies posted here are added to the sidebar.

my impetus for this is a "take back the night" event tonight at Ohio State's campus. It's about "ending rape culture" and male violence against women. During a conversation about the upcoming event I was corrected about a few misbeliefs that I held. it turns out:

more men commit murder more men rape / attempt rape

regardless, groups like TBTN need to realize men who are victimized by either gender are no less important than women and children.
