I found a link to this web page that talks about Briffault's Law; "The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place."

I couldn't find a source or really anything else in a cursory search of Google, so I'm asking here; does anyone know anything about this?
