I saw a post here about changing the sidebar this weekend, and I really do agree. Our sidebar comes across as bitter, and while we have every right to be, it's a lot harder for people to sympathize with us when we're acting this bitter. I propose just striking the last sentence - the bit about earning scorn. Our view on white knights and feminists is not hard to find without having this there. Just my two cents
