I read this book about ten years ago... the name of it just popped into my head, so I had a look for it, and what do ya know, it's been re-released and it's now sitting in my kindle (after I read Lemony Snickett).

Good read. I kinda miss the cover of my old one, which had a weirdly perfect woman's hand on it, as opposed to the 90's graphic it has now... but that's te beauty of the kindle, no covers to cringe at.
