Bringing that up in a thread started by a woman whose husband is actually abusive is tasteless and out of place, though.

Seriously, people, get the fuck out of this thread. About the worst place to practice MR activism is when a woman is being abused by her husband. Don't be assholes, this is a personal matter, not a political forum.
