My favorite MRA country singer is Lyle Lovett.

One of his first albums, before he met and married feminist icon Julia Roberts was great. I loved "She hates my momma, she hates my daddy too, she likes to tell me how much she hates the things I do" I think it's called, "Shes no lady".

Rewind Barney 18 times?!? Wow what misandry!

I'm all for fighting misandry but these examples are really weak. It's hard to argue a double standard in music when there are so many songs that depict women and violence towards them in a more intense fashion than his examples.

Wake Up Dead - A song about a man afraid of going home because his girlfriend will kill him
Whipping Post - A song about a woman who steals a man's money, cheats on him, and leaves him feeling like a fool
Hey Joe - Joe tells Jimi that he shot his girl for cheating, and Jimi responds that he should shoot her again
Aborticide - A song about brutally cutting open a woman and aborting her baby.
