Women were far more likely to report spousal violence than men, at 23%, compared to only 7% of male victims.

But women were more likely to report having been victims of violent attacks, with 35% saying they'd been sexually assaulted, beaten, choked or threatened with a knife. Only 10% of men reported that level of violence.

As a man whats the use to report your spouse (lady partner) attacking you. I did back in 1999 and the responding cops looked at each other and laughed, yep so much for equal treatment. And this was not to mention the 4yrs of mental abuse I took, finally I got smart and ran out in the middle of the night and never looked back.

Not that it needed to be pointed out but it's common sense as to why most men don't report domestic violence committed against them.
