Summary: If I answer an online dating ad, I usually get 1 response back per woman, but then after my next reply they ghost.

Body: So I know a lot of guys say not even to waste time answering online dating ads. I'm well aware that online dating is a huge validation resource for women and they get a large number of men contacting them. But I have started to email craigslist w4m ads just trying to improve my online game and just maybe figure out a repeatable method for scoring something of of there. If I see an ad that looks like a real ad I usually will send a picture of my self and a short description just like this "hi I'm a SWM - XX years old, 6'2", 190 pounds, who is a funny, intelligent, outgoing professional." That's it. I'm not going to waste anymore time putting in some BS. My thinking is the either likes the photo and my physical traits and after that, I can invest more energy once I see her photo.

I usually get 5-7 scammer emails that delete asking me to email them at some random email address. But I also do get several real emails from females back saying I am attractive and asking one or 2 questions about me and they usually send a picture or 2. So I reply and after that they ghost. My reply emails are usually just a simple 1 or 2 lines never showing much interest in them. I never say anything about their looks or compliment them in anyway whatsoever. I wait almost a day after they email me to reply back.

So what am I doing wrong? Should I be escalating immediately on my first reply? Am I replying back too soon? I realize this is craigslist and its probably 90% scammers, but the real emails that I reply to it's almost guaranteed that I see no reply back so I know it's something I am doing.
