A point about the opening. The article he cites in his youtube comment describes "extreme morning sickness" as a serious ailment that can require hospitalization (wiki here). This is not the specific case I would have chosen to illustrate women terminating pregnancies for "trivial" reasons.

"It's men, MEN, who care, and have always cared more about their children and their families." I stopped taking him seriously after he told us his thesis. That is a terrible thesis, it is unprovable, flawed, and the points he uses to back it up are weak. He argued that women "don't care" about their children... at all. Which is so wrong I don't even know where to begin, what the fuck.

His arguments where he provided facts, on the other hand, were very valid and true (when he was talking about child support), and need to be addressed, but NOT with that toxic misogynist thesis clinging to it, in fact, the factual points he brings up aren't really even related to the thesis.

Bottom line, take out most of the generalizing, using one case as evidence for the entire gender, and misogynist arguments, replace them with the good arguments you had, then reiterate your points into a nicely made, concise, straightforward persuasive piece that women will actually listen to.

The way he presents abortion makes me incredibly angry. Why presume, from the article that he quoted, that the abortion was the sole decision of the mother? How does he know that the father was not supportive? Abortion is, obviously, a medical procedure that is only carried out on women, but that doesn't mean that women are the only ones involved in the decision to have one. I don't think he gives either gender enough credit in the situation described, and I find the 'frivolous abortion' shaming disgusting. If the woman feels that she is unable to look after her toddler, and knows from experience that she will be unable to for months to come, why is it so selfish? Should the mother have to put herself and her toddler in danger for a foetus?

Beyond the lame attempts to demonize abortion, the video's main point seems to be that fathers care more about their children than mothers do.

So, whats this? A "I CARE MOREEEEE" pissing contest? For fucks sake - there's enough kids who could benefit from good parents regardless of gender to make this sort of shit worthless to the point of harmful.

He makes some interesting points about the lack of men's reproductive rights.

The audio is echo-box poor, and as always, I wish there were a transcript.

Also, 'presumption of Motherhood' is a legal concept that he is using informally; he should perhaps have aimed his critique at the 'presumptuousness of Motherhood."

As atomicparrot points out, the viewpoint is fairly conservative, so if you hate all non-liberal thought, be sure to keep your mind closed.
