Am I the only one amused by the idea that people think a little tickle is more dangerous than being packed in a tin of sardines flying through the air at 600mph?

My daughter regularly flies unaccompanied. I do not want her sitting next to anyone but little old ladies, other children or flight attendants. Sorry, I realize this is a little backward and probably superstitious of me, but I want airline personnel to bend over backwards to protect my kid if I can't do it.
