Um...this is a very surreptitious claim.

Catherine Chiofalo told police investigators she secretly substituted marijuana for oregano in meatballs, hoping a failed test would make her husband leave police work.

Sounds like someone's trying to save her husband's ass by taking the fall. Maybe the potheads can help me with this one, but doesn't it have to be extracted into a fat (i.e., sauteed with butter or something), to get any THC into the food? Not really sure that just straight up sprinkling pot in lieu of oregano into a meat mixture would result in a positive test.

LOL! Every drug addict I know whose failed a drug test has tried to use the excuse that someone "put it in my food!"

My favorite was the cokehead who insisted someone replaced the parmesan cheese on her pasta with cocaine.
