IMO: It doesn't.

The clear response to the oppressive fallacy that "men are (always) perpetrators" are a slew of counter-examples in which men are shown to be kind, loving, caring, creative, fully human.

The tact that certain (misogynist? You decide) men's rights activists have taken is "Yeah? You guys suck just as badly!"

I'm over-simplifying, however. pn6 has a number of good points he makes in his FAQ. It is important that we stop putting half the human race up on a pedestal.

From the FAQ:

Domestic violence, sexual assault, and sexual harassment laws, in their existence and in their application, reiterate the prejudice that women are more fragile, gentle, loving, caring, honest, and are morally superior to men.

The problem is then it becomes a numbers game and feeds into the way men and women don't listen to one another about our respective hurts. For instance, that this one woman organised rapes against other women serves to remind me that the rapists were still any number of willing men and that her culture is still a misogynist piece of shit that "shames" women for sex, even unchosen sex.
