The article makes a valid point, but blames the wrong people.

The fact is that feminism isn't exactly the problem. Rather, it's a certain form form of sexism embraced by a group of pseudo-feminists. Essentially, all feminism did was reject any kind of gender-based determination. Gender roles are bunk. Those who believe in feminism proper, therefore, would not have created this monster they call man.

As men, we need to reject any idea of gender roles in our own lives and encourage those around us to do the same. We need to be people too. This means taking responsibility for our actions: be a father; be a mentor; be the change you want in the world.

Men, we have a reputation we need to salvage. We need to stop whining about being castrated and/or fauxpressed (though I will admit that rape is still a sword of Damocles hanging over our heads, and that we are usually rejected in custody battles), and do something about it. Petition the lawmakers in your state for a changes in how rapes are dealt with. Petition for a change in family law.

And for God's* sake, guys, stop your fellow man when he's about to be a douche. Tell him it's not okay to cheat on his significant other, that it's not okay to take advantage of people with diminished capacities, and that violence isn't cool (except in video games, where it totally is).

*Yeah, I know he's not very popular around these parts. It's an expression. Roll with it.
