From 3-8 years from the time of the vasectomy before the reversal, 88% achieved sperm in the semen and 53% achieved pregnancy with their significant other.

9 out of 10 have some amount of sperm in their semen after reversal (only 3-8 years after original vasectomy). This is the number for any semen at all.

Only have are able to successfully impregnate a woman. Again, this is after only 3-8 years.

Of those whose reversals occurred between 9-14 years from the vasectomy, 79% had sperm in the semen and 44% achieved pregnancy with their partner.

You can see the chances of fathering a child start dropping off pretty precipitously after 8 years... down to 44% of getting pregnant.

After 15 years between procedures, 71% had sperm in the ejaculate and 30% achieved pregnancy.

After 15 years, you have a 3 in10 chance of fathering a child.
