I've noticed a rather disappointing hesitancy of Marxism among MRAs that goes back to the 70's. The way I tend to see it, people will usually attack liberal feminism for being influenced by Marxism because many people's understanding of Karl Marx is his writing of the Communist Manifesto to which they equate censorship of ideas under communism and conclude that postmodernist censorship is influenced by Marxism, but I find this take to be a bit embarrassing.

Jordan Peterson as well as other IDW people get accused of blaming cultural Marxism, which is a euphemism for cultural bolshevism, a Nazi conspiracy theory. Jordan Peterson however does not use the term cultural Marxism, he uses Neo-Marxism, a completely different term which isn't at all conspiratorial. However none the less, he along with others still place blame in the wrong camp. Liberal feminism has not been influenced by Marxism, in fact liberal feminism has rejected Marxism many times for failing to combine the theory of universal patriarchy within the Marxist framework. Liberal feminism has been influenced heavily by radical feminism, not Marxism. I recommend watching the debate with Peterson and Slavoj Žižek.

Jordan Peterson is pretty out of his league here as he begins his opening statement assuming that Žižek is going to try and defend communism. Žižek himself has said that feminists put too much focus on patriarchy and weaponize victim-hood as a tool of the bourgeoisie, even haven had it used against Žižek himself. Jordan Peterson makes the mistake of attacking Marxism rather than the system of capitalism that allows mainstream feminism to thrive. I'd like to see a revitalization of men's advocacy under Marxism/socialism and I feel the context of advocacy under socialism has been largely misunderstood in recent times as opposed to the early advent of socialism when many men's rights activists were actually socialists.
