Long story short, I caught oneitis with a girl I am very attracted to. We ended up dating but I fell hard into beta ways thinking that if I didn't do something different I would ruin the relationship.

Well from the very beginning I ignored my gut feelings about this girl. I ignored all red flags about her past relationships with other guys thinking that maybe if I could convince her that I was different she would change for me.

She ended up breaking up with me and two days later she ended up in some other guys bed.......I still took her back knowing that I should have ran. Hell I had to convince this girl to date me! Her excuse was I don't like labels because once you put a label on something it gets ruined but that's another story for another time.

We ended up back together but I just couldn't get over the fact that she had slept with another guy two days after leaving me. She spun it around on me saying that I was being needy and that she technically didn't do anything wrong since we were broken up for those days....another red flag I ignored. She once told me "I could replace you, but I choose not to." And she saw nothing wrong with saying that to my face...

I guess what I'm asking is why is it so hard for me to let this one go? I know she's selfish and self centered and is incapable of thinking about anyone other than herself.

UPDATE: sat down had a talk with her. She said that i was always pushing her for more and she just wanted to chill with me and that I couldn't relax. And that if I couldn't trust her then she would leave. I didn't let the anger get the best of me I sat calmly and said that in the future when you find that you have matured a little feel free to hit me up. Then I walked away
