We don't really talk about this, but almost ALL of people negatively effected by the influx of unlicensed travelling workers are MEN. Working and middle class men. It's probably helping millionaires and a lot of women who need cheap labor on their homes, but it's really hurting the rest of us.

Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, drain cleaners, painters, drywallers, delivery drivers, factory workers, movers, etc etc.

We've already been delt the crap-end of the stick here with significantly anti-man bigotry and unequal college enrollment and graduation rates. The support isn't there for us. We are systemically led towards either physical labor or security work.

And society toys with our well being and ability to make a living. Our lives are treated like they're disposable and meaningless.

We need some laws passed to offer these men a little bit more protection of their jobs and their industries imo.
