Female bartenders are some of the toughest to game, and at least for me, not worth the effort.

She's taken on a man's frame, lording over a bar and asserting control of the alcohol. If she's halfway decent, she gets hit on by drunks 24/7. She observes guys gaming hot girls all the time and knows most of the tricks in the book. She has an inflated sense of her own SMV, and is either broke and a gold digger, or addicted to validation (standard side job for actress, model, etc).

Getting her number while she's working basically depends on your presentation, it's rare that anything except superior advanced game will work on these bitches. Show up with a fancy watch, expensive-looking clothes, make eye contact with her. She'll either immediately express interest or dismiss you. You'll be in or out in 5 seconds.

Bartenders get hit on all the time. It takes a little from each side, but on one spectrum, if you are direct with her and she thinks you are attractive, you are set. It depends on the bar, timing, bullshit, but they are people too and enjoy the occasional pickup.

Don't tip her more than you would tip any other bartender. Being an ex-bartender, I usually tip fat, but under no circumstances should you tip her more than a male bartender who simply just did his job. If your tab is $50, leave $10-$12. Don't let her think she can use you for money.
