The post itself is annoying but the comments are...decent. I mean, getting mad at someone for wanting personal space is so petty. At least some comments understand that everyone deserves personal space. I mean Ive seen men who are assholes about their 'man cave' but woman can be the same their space

Most men I have seen be "assholes" about their mancave, is because they pay for the house, let the wife control the whole rest of the house decore etc. They just want one room to be theirs. And that's not a whole lot to ask.

I scanned through the first handful of comments and it's surprisingly a civil discussion. But the title is definitely a generalization. I don't think that ALL men feel "entitled". But I do think that that many "people" like to have their own space.

Men can do anything they want, whenever they want, however they want, ask someone to get out if they wanted in their man cave. He most likely pays for 100% of what is in that space and he and only he has has the right to decide who comes in and out and what to do in that personal space.. the fact that this is being questioned is genuinely pathetic but a pathetic is an accurate description of our current society..

The way I see it. When dude isn't expected to sleep on the couch or literally leave their own house when there are marital troubles (even when it's instigated and escalated by women), we can talk about doing away with "man caves".

Until then, tough shit. But then again that's why I'd never expose myself to the oh so lovely experience (/s) of marriage in the first place 🤷‍♂️
