Crosspost "This post will probably be removed." from /r/FemaleDatingStrategy:

I have become extremely disappointed with this sub.

I would like to start by saying I have been a member of FDS for most of the year. I am a huge fan of the intention behind this sub, and I have been genuinely empowered by many posts made here. A lot of you women are great people and I have so much respect for what you are trying to do and the women you have helped through your content.

However. Recently, I have noticed something sad happening on this sub.

I have noticed a few posts with healthy critism being made. These posts are usually very respectful, get a ton of awards, hundreds of likes, and great discussion and engagement in the comments. Which anyone would be able to tell, means a lot of members agree with or respect what has been brought up. Yet many of these posts get a lot of hate, or are even removed?

A couple months back I pointed out an issue with the content. I believe there is a difference between sharing personal stories about depraved men and just reposting depraved content. A story is cautionary. It can help other women relate to the abuse, it might even make you realize you are in a similar relationship, and it can help you see what red flags to watch out for going forward. But why are we seeing so many reposts of horrible things men have said? Why repost redpill tiktoks to FDS? Why repost men talking about needing a submissive sex slave? Why repost a man talking about cheating on his wife? All this does is give a platform to LVM to reach more women. We are reposting their filth to OUR space.... A few women even reached out to me saying that they felt triggered by these posts and often they bring up past trauma, and it hurts to read. Many people said they often take breaks from FDS because this content is too negative and they need a break from it.

What I don't understand is that I was called a pickme for this post, and it was removed. No mods responded to my queries.

Since then I have seen other similar posts with healthy critism. And really thoughtfull questions being asked. And even with a lot of likes and engagement, the posts seem to disappear. It seems as a member, any critism for the content here can result in name-calling and post removals.

I am almost certain this too will be removed. But in the chance it isnt... Can we on FDS please try to critically engage with one another? Can we respect each other's opinions, even if we disagree with them? And if a post does not break any of the FDS rules or go against the handbook, can we leave it up to the sub to decide whether or not it is good content?

We need to think about the culture we are creating on this sub and make sure it is one of productivity and empowerment. And attacking other women is not the way to do that...

Thanks for reading and sorry for the rant!

TL;DR: FDS is great. However a lot of women here are getting called pickmes and their posts are being removed just because they are critizing some of the content. Can we try to be more respectful of eachother and allow critical engagement with the content on this sub?
