Crosspost "Falsely accused of sexual harassment at work place." from /r/MensRights:
I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I fear getting a job anywhere now in person. I have been accused of sexual harassment 3 times now 3 different jobs over a time span of 5 years. First job I was a manager at a restaurant and I worked in the game room never had any interactions with the girls who worked in the kitchen. Actually I didn’t even know their names because I never talked to them. This all started when I was hired on as a team member. I was 29 at the time which made me like the oldest person of the crew members and they were all like seniors in high school. I was promoted to assistant manager 3 weeks later. The crew members were angry that they been working there for 1-2 years with no promotion. Time went by kept to my self didn’t talk to anyone but the employees in the game room and my managers. 3 months after I was promoted corporate asked me if I wanted to move up and be the main manager and i said yes. Word got around and next thing I know I was being accused of sexual harassment by the girls in the kitchen. I got suspended from my job instantly and I ended up resigning due to not wanting to commit career suicide. Next job I was working a call center for JP Morgan Chase in Tempe, Az. I somewhat got lucky and landed a schedule with 4 10’s Monday through Thursday with a 6 am start time. It was an amazing schedule word got out in my training class after the trainer posted all the schedules for everyone to see. I was approached by multiple females asking me to give up my schedule because they wanted it. I politely told them no. 2 weeks later I’m under investigation for sexual harassment. I was accused for holding an elevator for a female coworker. There were 3 elevators but 2 were being worked on and our training was on the 8th floor. I held elevator open for her so she would not be late from break. Again I was suspended and again I was forced to resign. Jumping to the present now I was hired on at MOD pizza as a manger. My store manger asked me to be her eyes and ears for her while she was not working. While I’m my 2 weeks of training I observed a lot of behaviors that were not allowed and other managers were allowing the team members do what ever they wanted. Have head phones in or be sneaking a vape inside the store or going to chat with friends while stil on the clock. I was super careful not to follow any females into the back alone and when they were training me on what to do I would keep a good distance away from them. I only talked to them when I needed to and I didn’t hold any doors for anyone or asked any questions. A week went by and I would report my observations to my GM and she started writing crew members up and giving them warnings. 3rd week into training I come into work and I was pulled aside by my GM and said she had to suspend me due to a few of the girls that work there accused me of sexual harassment. I was shocked but at the same time not surprised. And yet again I was forced to resign.
I honestly do not know what to do anymore because now anything can be considered sexual harassment and with employers believing these females with only their word against mine.
