So at work there's this guy that I'm in charge of. Maybe 6', chubby, not handsome, not even remotely intelligent, but the guy is a multimillionaire from his parents money. He's young and owns a 50000 car and a bunch of other toys, and he just works where I work because he's bored. At the job site he's the lowest guy on the totem pole.

I asked to use his phone as a calculator and I see a picture of a gorgeous girl as his background. I wait about 2 minutes and I say to him " Dude I have to ask, is that your girlfriend?" He tells me it is.

Now my first reaction was "Dude the only reason she's dating you is because of your money." But after reading TRP I have to ask myself "Is that wrong? I feel some animosity towards the girl. But I think I'm having the wrong take on the situation. Why would I be pissed at the girl for taking advantage of this guy? And is she taking advantage of him? Can you love someone for their money? Is it still love? Was wondering some true Alpha's take on the situation is. I don't think its right for me to be pissed at the girl but I can't figure out why.

This guy is sorta my friend, a good worker and pleasant company. Maybe i don't appreciate my friend being taken advantage of, but its his own fault right? Should I be pissed at him for letting this happen to him? Maybe he knows that this girl only likes him for his money and he's OK with that? Maybe he's not OK with it but does it anyways?

I'm not trying to "fix" him or anything, I'm not asking how to intervene, just trying to look at it from a TRP perspective.
