When I was in college I had to take a woman’s studies class for my major. While researching a paper on DV I found research that stated that bisexual women report higher rates of DV while in lesbian relationships than in hetero relationships. The instructor, a lesbian, wasn’t too thrilled with my findings but was unable to refute the research.

so women are only violent when they are not with a man? I know from experience this is not the case.
men suffer more often from psychological violence instead of physical through the woman, but if the woman wants to hurt you physically, she will use tools, most likely.
The man is on average physically stronger than the woman, so the hitting, slapping, kicking, biting will do less damage when she does it to him.
