Crosspost "I chose not to sleep with a very attractive person... And I'm glad I didn't" from /r/offmychest:

I ended up in bed with a very hot girl that some of my friends have been pushing me to try and sleep with. She was clearly very into me, but I didn't feel the same. I didn't find myself attracted to the person that she is, even if she's superficially very attractive.

Sooo, I didn't do it. I didn't sleep with a girl just because I could. A past version of me would have done it whether or not I liked her because of some fucked up societal expectation that's put on men to validate themselves through sex.

Well fuck that.

I don't want to do that anymore.
