This has been my experience from:

  • A phone date I had with someone whom I met online
  • Online posts I see
  • Convos I have had with Men and Women

What I have noticed is that Men are more flexible when it comes to moving, both in relationships and in general. Men are more likely to move for work. Men are more likely to move for a relationship. Men are more likely to move to escape high house prices / COVID restrictions / lack of COVID restrictions / Liberals / Conservatives / traffic / whatever.

Women on the other hand seem more tied to their hometowns, their parents, their friend circles. And while Men have those reservations as well; they seem to be willing to make the move for improvements in other areas of their quality of life. Heck I just did it a couple of months ago for career, traffic, and house prices

I've seen this happen for relationships as well. Men are more likely to move to their partner's hometown. The only cases I've seen Women are willing to move are:

  • The Woman is in a less developed country and the Man is in a Western Country
  • The Man is higher earning

I would assume that this is because Men just tend to simp for Women and society expects Men to. But considering that I have seen that Women are less likely to move; I feel there must be something else.

So, do you agree that Women are less likely to move - for relationships or otherwise - and if so, why?
