Idk if it makes them more interesting, approachable, or what it is exactly but I'm just curious. A year ago I(25M) had no tattoos at all. Now I have about 15. I have most of a sleeve, one of my hands & elbow, my ribs, chest, both sides of my neck. One thing I've definitely noticed is how women tend to hit on me a lot more or just seem much more comfortable striking up a conversation. In the past that never used to happen to me.

I've always been more of the quiet/keep to myself type around strangers. I just mind my own business really. This past year though I've had so many encounters with random women whether it's out at a party or a bar, at work, or even just stopping at a gas station. I've had women either flat out compliment my looks or just initiate a conversation that leads to them asking for my phone number or my snapchat. I mean I could be totally wrong & maybe all this started for some other reason, but I can't help but notice that my looks haven't changed at all besides all the tattoos & piercings. Before I had any, I got no attention. Now it seems like attention comes without me even paying it any mind.

I guess I'm just curious as to why tattoos might make some people (not all of course) feel more inclined to talk to you, or even be bolder than they would've been before. I know a lot of people still don't care for tattoos & I've definitely seen a bunch of people on Reddit talk down about them before. I honestly thought people would look at me as more unapproachable after having all the art done but that doesn't seem to be the case so far
