So I'm a Red Piller have been for years and the Red Pill really emphasises muscle growth to be attractive. They emphasise being lean and muscly and especially to work on that V taper.
Apparently the V taper with big arms is for women what an hourglass figure with a huge bust is for men. So to achieve this Godly body there's always the same muscles emphasised
Shoulders (particularly the medial head as that adds to the V look the most)
The chest (particularly the upper chest, cause V taper and it makes your big pecs look less like boobs)
Lats (make a wide back V taper)
Neck (makes the face look better if its wider/more muscly example)
Abs (obvious)
Arms (obvious)
Forearms (obvious)
and Traps. Traps always make the list, particularly upper traps, thats what they mean by traps. For anyone that doesn't know what traps are they're the muscles between your neck and shoulder, see examples here.
And I honestly have no idea why to me traps look aesthetically horrible, sure you need strong lower traps for posture and I don't suggest anyone neglect them but the way bodybuilding bros talk about them its insane.
I'm convinced that traps are why most women say they aren't attracted to a guy that's too muscly, what they mean is they don't like huge traps. Huge muscled men with low body fat percentage are extremely attractive without giant traps eg Joe Delaney or Chris Hemsworth.
But look at posts of those 2 or Ryan Gosling in r/nattyorjuice. Men say that those physiques are missing upper traps. It isn't just TRP, I know we're crazy but every single bodybuilding subreddit or forum I've seen talk about this concludes that huge traps and the quintessence of an aesthetic body, maybe only outdone by great abs.
I've heard the argument that without traps you look like you don't lift with a shirt on, but that's what the neck and forearm exercises are for?
Anyway ladies how many of you are secretly into traps? Because according to bodybuilding guys its all of you!
