Most media misandry takes the form of 'nut picking' - this is the act of taking one lunatic and using their actions to smear an entire group of people.

If this video was of a man beating a woman it would be taken as a sign of 'toxic masculinity' 'men need to sort out their attitude to women' 'the patriarchy allows this' etc etc etc ...

But this woman is of a woman beating a woman and so it is understood that the perp in this case is a crazy person ... there's no stain on femininity here.

But if it was a man ... well shit boys ... you'd better not be proud of being a man anymore!
