I don't know the full science behind it, but microplastic compounds essentially mimic the estrogen hormone, yes? Hormones bond to cell receptors to induce specific reactions, so one way to stop them is to block these receptors without inducing these reactions.

...Don't we already have the means to do so? Until a permanent solution is found, shouldn't we make use of the antiestrogens available throughout the market?

Of course, with questions beyond what I've already asked I should probably consult a doctor, but I am afraid my concerns would be written off as a non-issue. Did any other study use estrogen blockers within a group as a different variable?

I also heard that you can "sweat off" the microplastics with exercise, but then again exercise is good for us in general.
