Few things:
She has a boyfriend. Whether or not he's the man or a total dweeb is unknown, but she still has it. That's a fallback option for her to reject you.
Girls flake all the time. She may have said yes in person but no in private in order to cover her ass in front of her friends (if they were there).
Do you have any details about what you said? If you ask her out, you gotta control 100% of the date. Location and time should be established. Did you leave any details for her to fill in (i.e. she chooses the place/time)? Women tend to be flakier if she has power over the potential date.
