There are so many movies/tv shows that not only joke about male rape, but show males getting raped/sexually assaulted as a comedy scene. Even in romantic scenes between men and women, the media tells us that consent doesn't matter when it comes to men; and all this leads to a culture where so many men are raped/sexually assaulted, but aren't able to call it rape/sexual assault because the media either tells us it can't happen, or that it's supposed to be funny. And for those of us who have been through sexual assault, these jokes/scenes can be extremely triggering.

And it's sad that Men's Rights groups don't have enough power in society/media to get anything changed (you're still labeled a misogynist for saying you support Men's Rights); however, feminists do have this power. Women's groups and feminist celebrities have massive power in society/media, and if they said those jokes/scenes are going too far, movies/tv will listen to them and stop those jokes/scenes. Feminists have been able to cancel/fire men for bad jokes about women, so we all know they do have enough influence in the media to change things. Every feminist I know claims that they're 'fighting for equality' and care just as much about men's issues as women's issues, yet I've never seen a feminist speak out against male rape jokes/scenes (imagine if Ellen or the ACLU women's rights division came out and said they don't want to see male rape jokes/scenes, it would be headlines and Hollywood would listen).
