I always love it when politicians pull that line about wives and mothers, yet have no problem sending someone elses sons to die in wars that they started. They're not the ones going, and realistically, thier kids usually aren't either.

This is why I do not think the men's movement should champion "tradcon" values. Trying to impose or indoctrinate men into being 1950s suit and tie, cis, straight, conservative types as the ONLY way to express masculinity is counterproductive. He's right that the Far Left go way overboard in what they include in "toxic masculinity" sometimes, but social engineering in order to combat social engineering just compounds the problem.

I agree with your post but People need to realize that people like Hawley and other CONservatives in general are not on our side and do not believe in equality in the law as they are the people who were primarily against this and are the reason why we still do not have equality in the law in general and specifically in this.We need to continue to push for equality and vote out these conservatives that are getting in the way of equality in the law as well.I find it very surprising that people that want equality particularly in this still support these conservatives in office as these conservatives do not care about them and just say things occasionally that might resonate with them to score brownie points with them come election time.Speaking of selective service i have a petition as many of you know already to call on congress and the senate to either abolish the selective service system or to expand it by requiring everyone to register to have equality in the law and i would really appreciate if people here can look into and sign my petition in change .org.

Even a broken clock is right twice per day. How does this negate his stance on masculinity? Is including women going to make men look more masculine or something? IF anything, it would probably have the opposite effect.

Hawley is a tradcon, his only concern about male issues are along the lines that "men aren't manly anymore, and society needs manly men as batteries to keep going."
