Some context: In India, laws have been enacted to prevent harrasment of women in the name of dowry by their husband's families.

But said laws have been widely misused by women to put their in laws' whole families in jail whenever their marriages break down to harrass and humiliate them.

In the image above, the woman stupidly killed herself which would have been a blow to the husband and in-laws as well. But the woman's family used the stupid laws to torture them instead.
