Whenever someone tells me I’m a misogynist for believing that saying men get too much shit for rapes, harassments, and shit outta their control.

I respond with:

If a islamic terrorist attack happens, it’s, ideally, labeled as “caused by extremist”. Not muslims, as that would be racist, right?

If an immigrant robs a store, it’s, ideally, labeled as “caused by a group of armed men”. Not immigrants, as that would be racist and xenophobic, right?

So you agree that holding an entire group responsible for the actions of a few demented individuals is wrong, yes?

Then why the fuck are all men held responsible for whenever a rape occurs? How am I responsible for that shit?

Note: Here they will either, 1, stop talking to you or , 2, they will pull some bullshit about how it’s different because it’s men.

If case 2 happens, these will be the most likely explanations will use:

  1. It’s only discrimination when it happens to a minority.

Response: Ask them to define discrimination from the internet. If they pull some bs about the internet being run by the patriarchy or some bs, ask them where they get their info against men from.

  1. Say that men encourage rape or some bs.

Response: “No, no we don’t. When a buddy starts acting like a creep, we call them out.”

If they respond with “you’re lying”, ask them why they think you would. They usually start sputtering trump level conspiracy shit at that point. Not too hard to put down.
