Me(20M) and my ex(20F) were going out for over 2 years before I ended things.
We were each others firsts for everything, she was deep in love, meanwhile I questioned if love was a real thing because I didn't feel it. That's primarily why I ended it, I didn't want her chasing love from me knowing I'm probably never going to give it to her.
She is a good girl, like genuinely good. Would never cheat on me, would never flirt with anyone else, is always game to spend time with me.
When I think about her in the long term, she ticks all the boxes that apply to the person who you might want to settle down with in your 30's or 40's.
My question is this: once you've been a girl's first love, you've broken her heart by breaking up with her and ending her dream of "highschool sweethearts", she moves on romantically and sexually, is there a possibility of her getting back with you years down the road or do most women permanently lose that first love after it's gone?
Thanks.
