I figured I'd ask here since you guys give financial/general life advice sometimes.

I am a full time university student, I live on my own. If I don't have a steady stream of income I am basically fucked. I currently have a job, but the hours and management is getting unbearable. I find it harder and harder every week to balance it with schoolwork.

Normally you would just think, "oh then just get another job" right? It's not as easy as it sounds, I've gotten the same "we'll be happy to take you the second you turn 18 but right now our company policies simply don't allow for minors" speech maybe 5 or 6 times now. I've already given up trying to find entry level work in the field I am studying in.

I have also worked very low end food service jobs, like local fast food chains before. I know beggars can't be choosers but if there is anything I can do to avoid that, I would like to.

So what's a good option for someone like me?
