A non-exhaustive list of all the issues they point out and bring up.
Women using their University Privilege to "Title IX men" (crying rape to cover up for infidelity and similar)
How it's actually boys who are scholastically behind on average.
How women want the privileges of a traditionally conservative gender dynamic but none of the responsibilities.
How women did not want to be drafted in exchange for voting rights.
Unequal credit approval of women (they got this wrong and none of them knew why, Husbands were liable for their wive's debts)
Boys in school being over-prescribed medications because the school system itself is catered towards girls. (they cover the bases but don't realize the "why")
The "80/20" rule and the "women see 80% of men as below average" issue. Guest invitee dodges the issue and puts the blame back on men and porn, of course.
Wapo "30 % of men under the age of ~29 are virgins/sexless" stats.
Disproportionate suicide rate.
Infantilization of women (chiefly through title IX kangaroo proceedings)
And that's only the ones I picked up on first viewings. The way Timcast releases their daily streams is they first break up all of the "juicy bits" as 10-15 minute segments then they finally release the full uncut stream after all the traction wears down from the individual videos (of said stream). It's not a bad tactic, but the list above would likely be longer if I could just watch the full thing (which I will do.)
Of course there are many frustrating things about this. Firstly "MRA's" have forever been framed as exactly what our opponents claim we are with no option to rebut the case - this includes people like Tim from Timcast or Carl from Lotus Eaters perpetuating the framing in the past.
The only difference between them and what they openly espouse and explore and MRA's of the last 2 decades is that they are
only coming to these realizations now, better late than never.
At a time where they have enough "backlash backing" and front-loaded security and clout to be able to say their piece and not be character assassinated.
I have mixed feelings about the whole thing - It's good news that this is finally breaking further into the mainstream. But boy am I fucking annoyed that now "MRA's" will be forgotten as the damn source of all of these arguments and points of view - instead "our" history will, again, be replaced with what our enemies have falsely stated about "us".
I could go on - it's frustrating.
Tim if you ever read this, I've been an MRA since the very early 2000's and before that I was a "feminist" (who got his ass kicked in debate by the MRA's at the time - We miss you Angry Harry). Tim - your views on your podcast are no more extreme than any of the major views of "MRAs" over the last 20+ years.
None of what you discussed is news to anyone who has been advocating for Men's Right's for as long.
TL;DR: Today's Timcast pod/yt cast is essentially a summary of nearly all the things that have been discussed over the last ~20 years on the internet by MRA's.
