I have had girls in school dig their nails into my arm and then the teacher yell at me to stop bothering the girls. When my parents asked and I told them, they went to the school but the school did nothing. Only thing that happened was the teacher for that class had it out for me thereafter.

I have been groped at work, harassed, catcalled, insulted, false allegations and nothing ever happened to them. Only to me - my boss for one company a few years back even called me in and said I'm sorry but she works for a big client and it's just not worth the headache.

Since then I make sure I am never alone with a woman, and everything must be in writing/ email. Protect yourselves, guys. They will take the word of the sweet, innocent girl that you made cry, over the word of a violent, dirty man EVERY TIME.

I am so sorry for what you’ve been through. I’ve been through domestic abuse, and harassment at work. It is extremely damaging. The woman who lie and say they were the victim infuriate me. They make it harder for men and woman who have actually been abused to come forward.

Also you are right. Most of the time when a woman claims abuse, it’s guilty until proved otherwise in the court and public opinion. I do think there should be some kind of punishment for false allegations, like having to pay for job loss or anything else that happens when a man is falsely accused of abuse.

I personally can’t be around a guy alone unless it’s someone I completely trust. This might sound old fashioned, and I thought it was, because growing up my mom would never be with another man alone. I didn’t understand why when I was little. Now I do the same thing for safety.
