From Facebook (Anonymized): RIP to an Alienated Son

I’m incredibly sad to share the news that [Young Man] passed away this morning. He held on until his father [Dad's Name] was able to get to his mother’s home where [Son's Name] was in hospice and didn’t let go until the moment his father crawled into bed with him.

[Son's Name] was in a great deal of pain this morning. His family is suffering now but he is not.

We respectfully ask that those of you that have followed [Son]’s and [Father] visitation case to please not reach out to [Father]’s ex, the court or Judge. That fight is over for the moment although [Father] is committed to ensuring that the kind of legal abuse he and [Son] have had to endure the past few weeks never happens to another family in this kind of situation again.

[Dad] asked me to share that “while he is overwhelmed with unbearable sadness, he has also been overwhelmed by the love and support of family, friends and really everyone who have been affected by this tragedy”.

There are many people to thank who have supported [Son] and [Father] in their fight to be together these past few weeks, but that’s for another day. Today we remember [Son], rejoice in his salvation and focus on surrounding this entire family that is in a great deal of pain with love and comfort as best we can.

John 16:22 “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”
