Relatively speaking most social rights movement aspire to create an equal society to the best of the ability carried by their countries and fellow members of society. However, the concept of equality is not as easy to attain because society is made up of different groups and classes all of which having experienced deeply ingrained issues either through their fellow members of society, deeply rooted traditions or by the legal system of their country. Due to this social rights tend to fragment and split off into many fronts all of which catering to their core demographic.
Because most social fronts cater to various groups that are subject to various issues the way social fronts tend to handle their issues through proposals or legal action tend to create moments of overlap that is either contrary to what another front has been fighting for or damages another social front. This often leads to disagreement between various fronts which ultimately end in fights through debates, manipulation, etc in an effort to devalue the issues of the other side.
This ties into the original statement of spite and animosity as these moments and conditions create a prime breeding ground for an more tribal way of thinking, namely a thinking that focuses on the concept of allies and enemies based off of affiliation. The concept that an specific group is an enemy in addition to in group propaganda that reinforces this notion tends to dehumanize opposing sides and paints them in an evil fashion for not following what the social group opposing the previously stated group chooses to follow.
This process of dehumanization tends to create an environment of spite and animosity as both sides begin to disregard each other and actively work against each other not for the purpose of furthering social rights but for the purpose of "being ahead" or painting an image of victory for the uninitiated. An example of this can be seen in social rights groups disregarding the issues of other social rights groups due to fact that they have a worse problem which invalidates the problems of other groups due to its increased severity. Another example can be seen in the loss of rights for other groups being seen as a victory by opposing groups even though in the grand scale of social rights the loss of rights for the first group is a major loss to the social rights cause.
In conclusion because of the following factors social rights continue to be hindered today leading to the slow and sometimes malicious creation of laws that aim to cripple other social groups whilst giving another the upper hand depending on the affiliations of the authorities involved and the lack of proper non aggressive communication between opposing social fronts leading to a lack of compromise which have the ability to increase divides and opposition especially in a political scale. This means that instead of social rights groups working together to achieve a semblance of equality they fight each other leading to social rights having less sway and infighting as a political category which inevitably damages the root cause of social rights which is not superiority or correctness but instead the cause of providing equality all across the board for everyone
