So what? All the damage has been done. That was his goal in the first place. This is as useless as when a feminist gets busted lying about rape after a guy has been in prison 14 years. It’s reputation destruction, and it’s a standard technique.

“Withdrawing” just means people will think he was paid off and Ricky is a rapist or something. Truth is irrelevant.
