I'm an Indian and I agree with the girl here. This is exactly what is happening in India these days. Women who are well educated and have a good paycheck won't settle with someone who earns the same and is shorter than them in height.

This is going to be a big problem going forward but these feminists and SJWs in India won't ever consider the choices women make by themselves. They think it's all part of the patriarchy and oppression by the men.

i am an indian and both my parents have post graduate degree in mathsmy father works as an scientist while mom doesnt do a job and takes care of the house..

in my family's case my father wouldnt mind that my mom getting a job

but in some cases when the wife earns more than husband its not considered acceptable (can cause ego clashes ) hence most indian men dont marry women who earn more than them.. its like a inferiority complex

( wife being taller than her husband is also considered odd by boomers here)

this needs to changei personally dont feel like its compulsory that husband should earn more or vice versabecause no matter who earns more both the money is going to be used by both of them for the same household anyway

so there shouldnt be a need for husband to earn more than wife

The comments on the right-side of the pic are great. I remember when I first got married, my then-wife was finishing up graduate school and got a job working on Mondays (and only on Mondays). She said she would do nothing whatsoever to help around the house because she'd be so focused on work (meanwhile I worked 50 hours per week).
